Jordan Manthe

Jordan David Manthe, age 31, passed away suddenly in his sleep on Wednesday, June 8, 2016. He was born August 8, 1984, in Madison, son of David and Nancy (Jordan) Manthe.

Jordan was a graduate of Waterloo High School, class of 2002, and UW- Lacrosse. After eight years in the restaurant business, Jordan had become the general manager for Ski's Saloon in Sun Prairie. He had a great mind and was known for his analytical sports statistics. Jordan was a very loyal friend and had a zest for life. He wore his heart on his sleeve. Jordan enjoyed watching the Packer's, cheering on Le Bron James, and playing board games with his friends and brother, Neil.

Jordan is survived by his parents; David (Nancy Swiggum) Manthe and Nancy (John Schmitt) Manthe ; brother Neil Manthe; grandfather David Manthe; grandmother Mary Jordan; and several aunts, uncles, and extended family. He was preceded in death by his grandmother Ann Manthe and grandfather Howard Jordan.

A memorial service will be held at Sun Prairie United Methodist Church, 702 North Street, Sun Prairie at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016. A visitation will be held from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm on Monday, June 13, 2016, at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie and from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church.

Jordan was greatly loved and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
