Jonathon Aaron Litterer

Jonathon “Jon/JaLitt” Aaron Litterer, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.  He was born on April 3, 1989 in Waterloo, Iowa to Ken Litterer and Kerri (Wiltse) Litterer.

Jon graduated from Sun Prairie High School, Class of 2007, and he went on to attend Madison College.  Jon spent many years as a banquet bartender and server.

Jon lived life the way he wanted to live it-tenaciously!  He had a passion for all sports, especially football; and he loved to fish! 

Jon’s entire life was really his daughter, Hailey.  They spent time together bowling, playing darts and board games, disc golfing, fishing, and just creating memories.  Jon’s love for Hailey was truly his guiding light and what kept him going.

Jon’s smile could brighten even the darkest room.  His personality was contagious.  Whether he was breakdancing, rapping, talking about the latest games, or playing fantasy sports, Jon had a way to make anyone he met feel like they had been best friends for life.  Jon never knew a stranger.

Jon is survived by his daughter Hailey; parents Kerri (Clinton); Ken (Monica); siblings Andrew (Alexis) and Alison (Jerome); grandparents RuthAnn and Clayton; Don and Judy; and many nieces, nephews, step siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Hailey’s education and secured future was incredibly important to Jon.  The family asks that any contributions in Jon’s memory at this time be made to the family for an education fund to be set up for Hailey. 

Visitation for Jon will be from 12-2:00 PM on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at Cress Funeral Home SUN PRAIRIE, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with a memorial service to begin at 2:00 PM.
