Jon Quam

Stoughton- Jon Erik Quam "Quammer", age 48, passed away on Tuesday, August 25, 2015. He was born in Stoughton on November 23, 1966, the son of James and Jean Quam. Jon graduated from Stoughton High School in 1985. On September 17, 1994 he married Tami Everson. For the last 15 years Jon worked as an Assembler for Weir Minerals of Madison. He was an avid hunter and golfer. Jon surrounded himself with his many friends and was a great garage party host. For the past few years he was the grill master for the Stoughton Home Talent league. Jon is survived by his wife of 20 years, Tami; three siblings, Ann (Dan) Juve, Scott (Stacey), and Troy; numerous nieces and nephews who adored their Uncle Jon; mother-in-law, Judy (Bob) Rabe; father-in-law, Fran (Diana) Everson; four siblings-in-law, Jody (Bernie) Everson, Tim (Lori) Everson, Jerry (Katie) Everson, and Heather (Scott) Randall; many extended relatives; and numerous close friends. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton. Friends and relatives are invited to a luncheon at the Stoughton American Legion immediately following the services. Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Friday, August 28, 2015, and from 1:00 PM until the time of services Saturday, at the funeral home. Casual attire and/or Camouflage is requested by Tami. Please share your memories.
