John Schnell

Stoughton-John Arthur Schnell, Jr. passed away surrounded by family on Thursday September 24, 2015. He was born on May 28, 1956 in Waukesha, WI. as a very special child of John and Phyllis (Johnson) Schnell. John grew up in Pewaukee, WI. where he lived until mother's death in 1991. John then moved to McFarland and later on to Stoughton. He is preceded in death by his Mother and Father. He is loved by his sister Patricia (James) Jacobus, nephews Brian (Sabrina) and Scott Jacobus, great nephew Stevie and many caregivers. John worked at the Madison Area Rehabilitation Center (MARC) since 1994. John really loved the MARC staff and making money working there. He received residential assistance through Community Living Connections with many wonderful staff. John participated in many area activities throughout his life. John liked boating, swimming, camping, eating out, music, Fishing Has No Boundaries and watching The Food Network. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00pm Saturday Oct. 3, 2015 at MARC, 935 Page St., Stoughton with Pastor Brad Van Fossen and Pastor Rafael Cubilette officiating followed by a meal. Visitation will be from 2:30pm to 4:00pm Oct. 3, 2015 at MARC. In Lieu of flowers make donations to MARC, Community Living Connections or Fishing Has No Boundaries.
