John Knade

Sun Prairie - John Knade, age 62, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at his home. He was born on September 16, 1950 in Milwaukee, WI, the son of Melvin and Elizabeth (Bielfuss) Knade. On December 23, 1972, John was united in marriage to Kathleen Peter in Milwaukee. They began their married life together in Seattle, Washington and then a few years later they moved to Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin to raise their three children. For 19 years, John had worked for Cray Research and in 1996 he began working for GE Health Care. John was a dedicated family man. He was a devoted and loving husband and father and most of all a proud grandfather. John was taken too soon and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. John is survived by his loving wife of 40 years; Kathy, three children; Jennifer (Doug Stingle) Knade, Michael Knade and Julie Knade, three grandchildren; Austin, Holden and yet to arrive grandson #3, a sister; June Knade and a brother; Charles (Cindy) Knade. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother-in-law; Betty and Sid Elm and mother-in-law; Janice Peter.

Funeral services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, WI on Monday, December 17, 2012 at 1:00 pm with Pastor William Plautz officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 am until the time of services.
