John Dipiazza

Madison- John S. DiPiazza, age 64, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Meriter Hospital. He was born in Madison on March 23, 1954, the son of Tony and Mary DiPiazza. On September 22, 1979 John married Linda Benson. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Linda; two sons, Travis (Talita Maciel) and Paul (Herlinda Salazar); three brothers, Tom (Sheila), Joe (Marcia), and Dennis (Sue); sister, Linda (David) DiPiazza-Pearson; many nieces and nephews; mother-in-law, Audrey Benson; granddog, Mochi; extended relatives; and friends. John was preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Heather; and brother, Steven. A celebration of John's life will be held from 4:00 PM until 6:30 PM on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Avenue, Madison, with a brief time of sharing starting at 6:30 PM. A special thank you to the staff of Meriter Hospital and UW Rehab Hospital for their care and compassion.
