John Devine

John Devine, passed away December 22, 2014. Veteran of WWII Marine Corps. Recipient of the Purple Heart, Bronze Star, in battles of Iwo Jima, Saipan, and Tinian. Beloved husband of the late Eldorae. Loving father of James Albert (Karen) Devine, Kathleen (Michael Knutson) Devine, and Dan (Barb) Devine. Dear grandfather of John, Laura, Benjamin, and Joseph. John was a retired electrician and an active member of I.B.E.W. Local #134. Visitation Friday December 26, 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th St. just west of Harlem), Summit, Illinois. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 29, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home 206 W. Prospect, Stoughton, WI. John will be laid to rest at Riverside Cemetery.
