Joanna Bentley, age 74, passed away February 16, 2026 in Lodi, Wisconsin. Anna was born in Manila, Philippines, a daughter of the late Jorge and Miriam Paras. She passed away peacefully after a long illness.

Anna was a graduate of Madison West High School and the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Following college, Anna began work at the mailroom of CUNA Mutual in Madison. Through her hard work and strong organizational skills, Anna rose through company to reach the upper management position of Senior Law Specialist.

While Anna had a demanding position at work, she most treasured her time was with her family raising her three sons. She was an ardent hockey mom (soccer, football, baseball etc.) as she raised three very active athletes in the Waunakee school system.

Anna was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church and active in community philanthropic work. Anna was a beloved community member in Waunakee and she will be missed and fondly remembered.

Anna is survived by her husband, Roy Bentley of Waunakee; children Jason Bentley of Waunakee, Justin Bentley of Chicago, Ryan Bentley of Phoenix, grandchildren Domenic and Lola Bentley of Waunakee; and siblings Melinda Paras of Berkeley, CA, and George Paras of Garden Grove, CA and other loving family and friends.

A memorial service to remember Anna will be held at Winn-Cress Funeral home, 5785 Co Rd Q, Waunakee on Saturday, March 14 between 10 am and noon with a program at 11:00 am. Coffee and snacks will be provided. In lieu of flowers, financial contributions made to Roy Bentley will be passed along to Anna’s favorite charities.
