Joan Vanfleet

Joan S. VanFleet passed away December 13, 2011 in Madison, WI. She was born in Richland Center, WI on August 11, 1942; daughter to Duane and Gladys VanFleet. Joan was an avid bowler and had a passion for gardening. She loved dogs, especially her companion, Jody. She worked at Firstar Bank for over 30 years until her retirement. Following her retirement, she worked for PDQ food stores for 19 years.

She is survived by her brother Rudy (Nancy) VanFleet of Columbus,WI., nephews Jeffery of San Jose, Costa Rica, and Randy of Muskego, WI.; 2 great nieces and 1 great nephew, and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held Friday, December 16, 2011 at 2:00 pm at Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Avenue. A visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dane County Humane Society or the charity of choice.
