Joan Sarac

Madison- Joan M. Sarac, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, at her home in Madison. She was born on May 12, 1932, the daughter of Melvin and Florence (Krier) Kroetz. Joan was united in marriage to Joseph Sarac Jr. on April 12, 1958, at Peace Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sun Prairie.

She is survived by her children, Susan Reyes, Jill McConnell, Mike Sarac and Jeff Sarac; twelve grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; sister, Shirley Fehrman ; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Joan was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Joseph; son John; three sisters, Donna, Janet, and Mary; and a granddaughter, Amanda.

A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Friday, August 25, 2017, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and at the church on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service. A funeral service will be held at PEACE EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 232 Windsor Street, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, August 26, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Luke Werre officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens in Madison.
