Jill Ann Kreisler

Jill Ann (Hefty) Kreisler, age 75, passed away peacefully at her home on September 5, 2025, with her daughter and son by her side. Jill was born August 11th, 1950, in Monroe, WI, the daughter of Lloyd (Matt) and Marianne Hefty. She moved to Madison when she was 15 and graduated from Memorial High School in 1968. Jill was a stay-at-home mom for many years, providing loving care and guidance to her children as they grew into their teenage years. In 1984 she began working at the Woodman’s Food Market in Madison, first as a bagger and working her way up to front office staff, before retiring in 2009. After retirement, she enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, and family. 

Jill is survived by her daughter, TerrieAnn Jones (Dan) and her son, Scott Kreisler (Jenny); grandchildren Nathan and Amanda Jones; her sister Sue Midthun and brother Matthew Hefty; her nephews and niece, and her aunt Sally Disrud.

A visitation will be held on  Saturday, September 13 from 10-12, followed by a service at 12:00 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison. 

The family would like to thank those that provided love and support for Jill at the end of her life, especially Deb, Wendy, Hannah, and Sister Georgeann, and the caring people of HospiceCare.
