Jesse C. Saemann, Jr.

Jesse C. Saemann   Jr., age 89, passed away on October 3, 2010 at Avalon Assisted Living.   He was born September 16, 1921 in Adell, WI  to Adelaide (Krumrey)   and Jesse   Saemann Sr.   Jesse received all three advanced degrees from the University of Wisconsin- Madison, and retired in June 1983 as an Emeritus Professor after teaching in the Dept. of Engineering Mechanics for 37 years.   Jesse was a veteran of World War II, having served in the Navy from 1943 to 1946.   He was a long time member of Westminster Presbyterian Church, having served as an Elder.   He was preceded in death by his parents and a son-in-law,   Michael R. Chapman.   Survivors include his wife, Evelyn;   two daughters, Lynn Chapman of Edgerton, WI, and Lauri (Alan) Clapp of Cedarburg, WI ; two granddaughters,   Sarah and Amy Clapp of Cedarburg;  three brothers,   Noah and Henry Saemann of Elkhart Lake, WI, and John Saemann of Union Grove, WI ;   as well as many nieces and nephews.   In honoring Jesse's wishes, no services will be held.
