Jesse Fountain

Jesse J. Fountain 58, was welcomed home to the lord on July 21, 2012.

He was preceded in death by his mother Lizzie Williams, brother Willie Vaughn and daughter Lizzette Fountain. He is survived by his brothers; Sam Vaughn, Sim Gipson, Joseph Johnson, and James Fountain, his sister, Lueretha Fleming, sons Joseph Fountain and Lezerrick Anderson, daughter in-law Tammy and their children, Zariah, Trayvon, Lizzette, Za'nya, Lezarria, and Lynnzee, daughter; Jessica Johnson, son-in-law Jamah and their children, Jamah and Lizzette, many cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends. Jesse loved and was proud of his children and deeply cared for his family. He was a dedicated employee of the city of Madison, streets division and a proud member of the masons and his labor union.

The family would like to thank all of the caretakers as well as family and friends who assisted him during his illness.

Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and rejoice in his homecoming on Friday, July 27th, visitation from 11 am until 1 pm followed by the funeral service at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Rd.,Madison.
