Jerry Collins Sr.

MADISON-Jerry Harden Collins, Sr. was born September 13, 1958, to the proud parents, LaVerne McClarity and Louis Collins, Jr. in Chicago, IL. He was preceded in death by his father, Louis and brothers, Anthony McClarity and Johnny McClarity.

Jerry completed his education at Harper High School in Chicago. Jerry loved to work outside. His favorite was painting.

He leaves to mourn his memory, his loving mother, LaVerne Harden; son, Jerry Collins, Jr. (Paula) of Madison; sisters, Miriam "Diane" Moore of Chicago, Beverly McClarity of Chicago, Reginia Collins of Madison, Pauline Love of Chicago, and Kerry Harden of Aurora, IL; brothers, Marvin Collins of Rosedale, MS and Andre Harden of Naperville, IL; and a host of nieces and nephews; family and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at CHRIST THE SOLID ROCK BAPTIST CHURCH, 1502 Parkside Dr., Madison, at 1:00 P.M., of Friday, May 8, 2015, with Pastor Everett Mitchell presiding. A repast will be held following services at the church.
