Jerome Churchill

Windsor - Jerome S. "Jerry" Churchill, age 69 passed away with his loving family by his side on Friday, April 26, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare. He was born on May 31, 1943 in Endover, WI, the son of Kenneth and Margaret (Vedvick) Colby. On June 29, 1963, Jerry was united in marriage to Carol Raley in Rio, WI. Together they raised four sons. For 35 years, Jerry worked for Oscar Mayer Foods as a production worker until his retirement in 1998. Shortly after his retirement he began working for Northside Elementary School in Sun Prairie. There was not a day that went by that he did not enjoy seeing that faculty or students in the hallways. In his spare time he truly cherished the time spent with his family.
Jerry will be dearly missed by his loving wife, Carol of 50 years, four sons; Timothy of Copperas Cove, TX, Mark (Cheryl) of Rogers, MN, Jeffrey of Windsor and Chad (Shannon) of Verona, five grandchildren; Jordan(fianc� Amber) of Clovis, New Mexico, Logan of Copperas Cove, TX, Samantha and Seldon of Rogers, MN and Spencer of Verona, two sisters; Linda Churchill of Sun Prairie and Diane (Ron) Bebout of Illinois and three brothers; Larry (Jane) Churchill of Montello, WI, Doug (Sue) Colby of Poynette and Frank Churchill of Madison. He is also survived by many other loving family and numerous friends.
A service to celebrate his life will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 9:00 am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jerry to Agrace HospiceCare, Inc., 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711.
