Jeffrey Poffinbarger

Madison- Precious son Jeffrey Scott Poffinbarger, age 31, passed away on Sunday, February 7, 2016 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. He was born in Madison on February 24, 1984, to the proud parents Scott and Julie Poffinbarger. Family, friends, and support staff embraced Jeff's disabilities as he touched so many lives with his infectious smile and strength as he endured life challenges. Jeffrey is survived by his parents, Scott and Julie; his brother, Bradley (Nikita); niece, Lily; grandmother, Joan Edgren; aunts and uncles, Bob (Debbie) Edgren, Vicki (Brian) Ballweg, Vickie (Fred) Pocius; cousins, David (Andrea) Merchant, Cody and Kaci Ballweg, Heather Edgren, and Cole Pocius. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Robert Edgren Sr.; grandmother, Joann Torke; and special family friend, Barb Lasek. A Celebration of Jeff's life will be held at 5:00 PM on Monday, February 15, 2016 at Cress Funeral Home in McFarland. A reception will follow at the 5100 Club in McFarland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to MARC East, 66 Buttonwood Court, Madison, WI, 53718. The family extends a special thank you to the staff of St. Mary's Hospital, MARC East Center, and Progressive Community Services support staff for their compassion with Jeff.
