Jeffery Fueston

Jeffery H. Fueston, 62, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2016 after a long battle with prostate cancer at Agrace HospiceCare in Madison, WI, surrounded by family and the wonderful nursing staff there.

He was born on December 22, 1953 in Middletown, Ohio to Jasper and Clara (Ernste) Fueston. He graduated from Lebanon High School in 1972 and went on to work many jobs throughout his life. Jeff had a wonderful, very caring personality and was well-liked if not loved by all who knew him. He had a great sense of humor that stayed with him through to the end. Jeff was best known by family and friends as "a nice guy who breaks things". He will greatly be missed.

He is survived by his mother, Clara; daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Cotter, and Jacqueline (Ray) Whittington; and grandchildren, Melissa and Paul III, and Holtin and Raelyn. He is further survived by his brother, Jon; sisters-in-law, Rhonda and Kitty; and nieces and nephews, Jeff, Nonnie, and Kelly. Jeff was preceded in death by his loving wife, Virginia; his father, Jasper; his oldest brother, Jimmie "Sprinkle" as well as many other family members that have gone on before.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 5:00 pm on Friday, June 24, 2016 at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 1270 North Broadway Street, Lebanon, Ohio with Pastor Frederick Cook presiding. Visitation will be held from 4:00 pm until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations can be directed to Agrace HospiceCare, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, Wisconsin 53711.

The family would like to thank the staff at Agrace HospiceCare, the staff at the University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center, and Dr. Stephen Almasi at Group Health Cooperative for the wonderful care and dedication they showed Jeff in his final months. Please share your memories of Jeff.
