Jean Skinner

Jean Skinner, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 4, 2010, at HospiceCare in Fitchburg.   She was born Nov. 13, 1928 in Ontario, Canada.   Jean was united in marriage to Dr. Hugh Grant Skinner on June 26, 1947.   She was employed as a social worker for the State of Wisconsin.   Jean is survived by her children; Darda Young, of New York, and Pamela and Brian Skinner both of Madison, daughter in law Susan Skinner of Madison, six grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.   She was preceded in death by her husband, Grant in 2001, and her son, Kevin in 1997.   A memorial visitation will be held from 4-6 pm on Thursday, August 12, 2010 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Rd., Madison, WI.
