Jean Marie Reiners

  STOUGHTON-Jean Marie (Lord) Reiners, age 64, of Stoughton, died on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2010, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. Jean was born to W. Harold Lord and G. Mary (Bock) Lord, in Muscoda, on Feb. 11, 1946. Jean graduated from Richland Center High School in 1964 and had two years of college. Jean married John Lawrence Reiners on Feb. 17, 1968. Jean was a cosmetologist in Wisconsin since 1970 and worked in Eau Claire and in Madison at the Happy Ending and, most recently, at the JC Penney Styling Salon at East Towne until her retirement earlier this year.   Jean is survived by her husband, John Reiners;   her mother, Mary Lord; her siblings, Michael (Marieta) Lord of Portage, William (Kay) Lord of Big Rock, IL., Jane (Arthur) Grunden of Sun Prairie, Samuel Lord of Madison, Donald (Shari) Lord of Cottage Grove, Kathleen (Rick) Simmons of Broomfield, CO., Susan (Kin) Miller of Westchester, IL, Patricia (James) Riddle of Sun Prairie, and Barbara (Mark) Eggleston of Broomfield, CO.;   special grandsons Eashan and Krishan Xavier of Waunakee and numerous special nieces and nephews and great-nieces and -nephews. Jean was preceded in death by her father; her brother, Peter Lord; her sister Mary Hewuse.   A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St Bernard's Catholic Church, 2450 Atwood Ave., Madison, WI. on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. with Monsignor Michael E. Hippee officiating. A private family burial will follow at Resurrection Cemetery. Friends of the family may call on Friday, October 1, 2010 from 4-8 p.m. at the Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Ave., Madison, WI. and one hour before Mass at church.    A cancer survivor for many years, Jean was passionate about raising funds for the Susan G. Komen Foundation and memorials to the foundation in Jean's name would be greatly appreciated. http://www.komenmadison.org/. Jean's warmth and generosity of spirit touched everyone who came in contact with her. Jean's unconditional love, smile and her hearty laugh will be sorely missed by us all.
