Madison- Jean Ann Lukasavige, age 85, formerly of Steven's Point, passed away peacefully at All Saints Memory Care in Madison while under the care of Agrace Hospice from complications related to Parkinson's disease. Jean was born February 1, 1929 in Mosinee the daughter of the late Frank and Genevieve (Rowe) Retzner. She married Clarence "Rex" Lukasavige, her high school sweetheart, on October 1, 1949 in Stevens Point. Jean was an avid homemaker for many years raising their 4 children. She enjoyed spending her time with her husband and children playing cards, golfing, bowling, camping, volunteering and traveling. She spent many years traveling back and forth to Florida where she and Rex spent their winters.
Jean is survived by her husband of 64 years Clarence "Rex" Lukasavige, her 4 children; Chris of Racine, Mark (Michele) of St. Louis, MO., Jeff (Monica) of Stevens Point, and Jill (Doug) Annis of Madison, 11 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, sisters; Carol (Jim) Glodowski of Appleton and Mary (Stan) Woznik of Pulaski.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a daughter-in-law Lana Lukasavige.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday September 6, 2014 at ST. STEPHEN CATHOLIC CHURCH, 1401 Clark St. Stevens Point with Fr. Jerzy Rabacz presiding. A visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the church on Saturday.
