Jean Ann Larson, beloved Wife, Mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother died late Thursday night, January 10, 2013 at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg surrounded by family. She was born June 27, 1931 to Carl and Arlene Meudt at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, and grew up on a farm in the beautiful hill country North of Ridegeway, WI with her parents, sisters Delores, and Mary Lou, brothers Wendell "Toby" and John "Jack", and her Aunt Teresa "Trace" Meudt. A 1949 graduate of Dodgeville High School, she was a cheerleader for the football and basketball teams. She met her husband, Donald B. Larson while working as a waitress with her sister Mary Lou at the Esquire Club in Madison. They were married June 6, 1953 at St. Bernards Catholic Church on Atwood Ave. From this love and marriage 3 children were born and raised on Madison's near west side: Mark, Tim and Jill (Dan) Grover, and precious grandchildren, Joshua (Jessica) Grover, Rebecca (Justin) Suter, and precious great grandchildren, Jonathon, Lillee, and Joshua Grover, and Jut, Jillee, and Livee Suter. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Don, brother Toby, sister Delores, and her Aunt Teresa. She was a sweet, wonderful lady and will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at BLESSED SACRAMENT CATHOLIC CHURCH, 2115 Rowley Ave., Madison, WI 53726, with visitation from 10:00 am until the time of Mass. The burial will take place after a brief chapel service at Resurrection Cemetery, followed by a luncheon at church.
