Janice Adsit

MADISON
Janice L. Adsit passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones on Thursday, December 10, 2015 at age 78. She was born in Richland Center on October 12, 1937 to the late Edgar and Eva (Maly) Boggs.

Following graduation from Muscoda High School, Jan eventually settled in Madison and was united in marriage on July 2nd, 1960 to David Adsit. Jan enjoyed a career in the banking industry until her retirement in the '90's. Together Jan and Dave enjoyed traveling on their Goldwing and casino-hopping with family and friends. Jan also enjoyed quilting, sewing, crocheting and collecting cardinals.

Jan will be dearly missed by her siblings, Leron (Karen) Boggs of Kenosha, WI, Bonnie O'Brien of Miami, FL, and Willard (Lillie) Boggs of Corryton, TN; also many nieces, nephews and numerous friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Dave (2008); sister Eunice Lovering; and brother in-laws Jack Lovering and James O'Brien.

The family extends a special thank you to all her friends and family members for their wonderful care and support while Jan battled cancer over the years.

A memorial service will be held at 12 p.m. on January 16th, 2016 at the CRESS CENTER, 6021 UNIVERSITY AVE., MADISON. Family will greet friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service. A reception will follow.
