Jane C. Storm

Jane Carole Storm, age 79, of Middleton, Wisconsin, passed away peacefully early Sunday July 13, 2025 at home surrounded by family. She was born September 22, 1945, daughter to Hartvig and Marie (Amundson) Iverson. Jane enjoyed living her childhood years in Whitehall, Wisconsin before moving to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin for her high school years. She studied at both UW LaCrosse and UW Stout before meeting and marrying the love of her life, Harvey Storm.

Jane is survived by her husband of 57 years, Harvey Storm of Middleton, Wisconsin; her children, Heidi (Mike) Murphy of Verona, Wisconsin and Greg (Shelly) Storm of Ketchum, Idaho/Rochester, Minnesota; her grandchildren, Elizabeth (Landon) Tucker, Storm Murphy, Gabe Storm, and Libby Storm; her great granddaughter, Peyton Tucker; and her sister, Kay (Jim) Bartz of Appleton, Wisconsin. She also leaves several nieces and a nephew and other family members who will sadly miss her.

Jane lived a grateful and beautiful life. She was a life long learner and enjoyed watching Jeopardy, often getting the Final Jeopardy question correct. She cherished her Norwegian roots and in addition to making her way to a Lutefisk dinner each year, she also gave her family the trip of a lifetime by touring Norway together. Jane had a keen eye for style and design, surrounding herself and those around her with lovely things. She always looked forward to playing bridge with friends for the challenge and fun of the game, but also for the conversations and connections. Most important to Jane was her faith in her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and she trusted Him more each year of her life. She kept the truth of Proverbs 3:5-6 always on her mind and close to her heart.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, July 18, 2025 at the Historic First Lutheran Church (711 Pleasant View Road, Middleton, Wisconsin; of note, parking is quite limited and there are no restroom facilities), with Visitation beginning at 10:00 am. Private burial to follow for immediate family.
