James Noble

Sun Prairie - James T. Noble, age 62, died peacefully in his home on June 20th after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born March 20, 1953, in Savanna, Ill., to Thomas E. and Florence L. (Lister) Noble. He was married to Linda P. Burrows on October 11, 1972 at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Saint Helens, England; they were married for 42 years. Jim worked as an ASE auto mechanic early on in his career and recently for Sub-Zero as a steel fabricator. Almost everyone who knew Jim would agree that he was passionate about automobile customization. In Jim's honor, all hot rods are encouraged to attend the service.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Noble; son, Jamie (Penny) Noble; daughter, Joni Noble; three grandchildren; one sister, Mary (Ray) Sayer; three brothers, John (Sue) Noble, Jerry (Emily) Noble and Donnie (Linda) Noble; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Larry and good friend, Ronnie J. Morton.

A funeral service will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, on Thursday, June 25, 2015 at 6:00 p.m. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service.
