James P. Ladron

James “Jim” P. Ladron, age 83, passed away on Monday, May 26, 2025. He was born on October 10, 1941 in Columbus, WI to George and Virginia (Gilmore) Ladron.

Jim was an avid sports fan. He never turned down a good round of golf with friends.

Jim loved his family dearly. He spent his life coaching and cheering on his children and grandchildren in every way he could.

Jim is survived by his wife of 58 years Mary Jane; children Patricia (Matt) Bolton and Tim (Triscia); grandchildren Nick Grischow, Rick Grischow, Amanda Grischow, Madilyn Ladron, and Jaxon Ladron. He is further survived by his siblings Mary Johnson, Sandi Trosper, Chris (Jim) Loy, and Tom Ladron; and many other nieces, nephews, friends, and other relatives including step-grandchildren Eric and Abby. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings Theresa, Barbara, and Josh.

Visitation will be from 9-10:30 am on Tuesday, June 3, 2025 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 St. Albert the Great Drive, Sun Prairie, WI 53590 with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10:30 am. Jim will be brought to his final place of rest in a private service at Glenview Memorial Gardens in Ixonia, WI at a later time.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are appreciated to St. Croix Hospice and Jefferson Memory Care.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to St. Croix Hospice especially Nurse Tame and Jefferson Memory Care for their care and compassion for Jim while in their care.
