James Michael Hehnke (Watts)

November 16, 1958 - June 13, 2023

The second son of James E and Joan G Watts passed away from cancer. James followed in his father’s footsteps by joining the army in 1976. After lengthy postings in both Germany and South Korea, he rose to the rank of E4. Arriving back in the states, James was hired by Hewlett Packard and was most notably responsible for work on the space shuttle. Later he went on to work at Avontec in San Jose, California where he loved to entertain at his beautiful penthouse apartment. He returned to his childhood home of Madison Wisconsin, writing and working on numerous movie manuscripts until his passing. He is survived by his siblings David, Jerome (Trish), Marc (Mary), Becky (Michael passed), Jennifer (passed) and Matthew (Shundra).

Service is Wednesday June 21st at 1:00 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery Chapel 2705 Regent Street Madison, WI.
