James Harwood Jr.

Sun Prairie - James "Jim" Harwood Jr., age 49 was taken by heavenly angels far too soon on Wednesday, May 22, 2013. He was born on November 28, 1963 in Mt. Clements, Michigan, the son of James and Judy Harwood. Jim proudly served in the United States Navy. He enlisted in 1982 serving 7 years as a data systems technician, where his talents were used in the Far East, the Mediterranean and Australia. Jim owned Advantage Computer Systems and currently worked for Captel. He was an avid Packer fan, loved golfing and having a good time with friends.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Jim was survived by his son, Dan of Sun Prairie and his mother, Tracy Harwood, his parents; Jim and Judy Harwood of Bartlett, TN, and his brother; Gary Harwood of Las Vegas. Jim is also survived by many other loving family and friends.
A celebration of Jim's life will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at Sun Prairie Golf Course 6-9 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in memory of Jim to establish an education fund for his son.
