Jaafar Al-Abdulla

Jaafar Khalaf Al-Abdulla passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at age 90. Jaafar was born in Basra, Iraq on January 7, 1927 to the late Khalaf and Reheyja (El-Rumeid) Al-Abdulla.

Jaafar was a Professor at the University of Wisconsin, Madison for 30+ years until his retirement in 1997.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara; daughter, Camilla; and son Sadik (Dace) and their children, Matis and Dominik.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be Sunday, April 2, 2017 from 2 until 4 p.m. at Cress Funeral Home, 3610 Speedway Road, Madison.
