J. Mae Wenzel

J. Mae Wenzel, age 89, died Tuesday, October 19, 2010 in Edgerton.  She was born December 26, 1920, in Rock County, WI, the daughter of Herman and Adella (Ingersoll) Falk.  She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church.  In her spare time, she loved reading and later had to give it up due to her sight. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by Olds Seeds in Madison.  On June 14, 1947, Mae was united in marriage with George Wenzel in Hanover, WI.   Survivors include 2 brothers: Herbert (Esther) Falk of Edgerton and Gerald (Elnora) Falk of Montello, as well as, several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband George in 1990, her parents, a brother Donald and a nephew John Falk.   Services will be held at 11:00 am Friday, October 22 at IMMANUEL LUTHERAN CHURCH 1021 Spaight St. in Madison where friends may call from 10:00 am until time of service.  Reverend Dustin Krystowiak will officiate.  Burial will follow in Milton Lawns Memorial Park in Janesville.
