Irene Georgeson

Sun Prairie - Irene M. Georgeson, age 85 passed away on Monday, February 4, 2013 with her loving family by her side. She was born on January 20, 1928 in Madison, WI, the daughter of Jesse Palm and Helen (Brown) Palmer Farnsworth. In 1948, Irene was united in marriage to George R. Georgeson. He preceded her in death suddenly on July of 1976. For over 18 years, Irene worked as a housekeeper for the Roadstar Motel until her retirement. During her working career she also held positions at Oconomowoc Canning Company and Wisconsin Cheeseman. In her spare time, she enjoyed playing cards and greatly enjoyed and lived for a good game of bingo. Most of all, she cherished the time she spent with her family. Irene will be dearly missed by her four children; George (Betty) Georgeson of Madison, Yvette (fianc� Rich Bradley) Mohr of Oak Hill, FL, Bonita Peterson of Madison and Annette (Dan) Bedward of Sun Prairie, 10grandchildren; Tom (Shelley) Kippert of Hillburo, OR, Michelle (John) Ford of Portland, OR, Richard Kippert of San Diego, CA, Mickey Worrell of Portland, OR, Belinda (Nelson Rodriguiz) Georgeson, Guy Georgeson, Kim Georgeson, Brenda Holub, Charles Hull all of Madison and Sean Bedward of Sun Prairie, a son-in-law; Michael Worrll of Las Vegas, NV, seven great grandchildren; Anthony, Mariah, Carmen, Casey, Alex, Nikole and Ravin and two great grandchildren; Natalie, and Mya. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and three children; Sandy Worrell, Karen Georgeson and Roger Georgeson. Memorial services will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00 am. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Agrace HospiceCare Inc, 5395 E. Cheryl Parkway, Madison, WI 53711. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Willows Nursing Home, Hyland Park of Sun Prairie and Agrace Home Hospice for all their love and care given to Irene and our family.
