Irene Filipkowski, age 88, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2015 with her loving family by her side. Irene was a loving wife and mother. She had a passion for sewing and needlepoint. Irene is survived by her son John ( Elizabeth); and granddaughters Alyssa and Ashley. A scripture service for Irene will be held at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace in Sun Prairie at 6:00pm, Monday, May 18, 2015 with Monsignor Duane Moellenberndt presiding. A visitation will be held from 5:00pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Interment will be held at Pine Lawn Memorial Park in Farmingdale, NY at a later date.
