In Loving Memory

Hildreth "Ann" ( Newby) O'Herrin, age 88, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Saturday, May 3, 2014. She was born September 2, 1925 in Carroll, Iowa, the daughter of Glenn and Cordelia (Barnes) Newby.

She was united in marriage to Bill O'Herrin on June 12, 1948. She graduated from Marquette University School of Dental Hygiene and practiced before and after raising their 4 children. Ann enjoyed beach combing, snorkeling, tennis, cooking, reading and various volunteering jobs.

She will be missed by her four children Kathleen( Tom Linscott); sons Patrick X. ( Amy), William G. ( Mary) and Sean M O' Herrin; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death her husband Bill and one brother, Chuck.

A memorial service will be held at The Tree of Life Chapel at Oakwood Village East, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison on Thursday, May 8, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Monsignor Terrence Connors presiding. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services on Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Ann's name to the donor's favorite charity.
