Henry "Hank" Veith

Henry “Hank” Walter Veith, 82, of Sun Prairie passed away on Friday, November 21, 2025 peacefully at his home.

Hank was born on January 5, 1943 in Madison to Urban and Irene (Maier) Veith. He grew up in Marshall and graduated from Marshall High School in 1961. On June 27, 1964 Hank married his high school sweetheart, Mary Ann Lange at St. Mary’s Church. Hank worked as a glazier for 42 years, working at Paratransit for 7 years before his retirement in 2012.

He was a member of Union Local 941. Hank and Mary were charter members at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church and remain faithful members.

He enjoyed gardening, golfing, bowling, and traveling around the country with Mary Ann.

Hank is survived by his loving wife, Mary Ann Veith; children, Brenda (Steve) Fronsee of Sun Prairie, Margaret Brooks of Waunakee, Jeffrey Veith of Michigan, James (Marcia) Veith of Hustisford; 10 grandchildren, Tim, Joshua, Ryan, Ashley, Ben, D.J, Macy, Mady, Kamy, Emelia; great-grandchildren, Levi, Ayden, Sara, Brooklyn; twin-sister, Mary Ann Kuhlow; and brothers-in-law, Darrell (Carol) Lange, Preceded in death by granddaughter Sheridan Veith, brother Orville Veith and brother-in-law’s Bob Lange, Gerald Lange, and Charles Kuhlow.

A mass of Christian burial will take place at 11AM on Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, 2420 Saint Albert the Great Dr., Sun Prairie, WI 53590. A rosary service will proceed mass, at 10:30AM. Visitation will take place from 9AM until the time of the rosary service. Following mass, a burial will take place at Sacred Hearth Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials can be made in Hank’s name to St. Albert the Great Catholic Church, the Sacred Hearts Catholic Cemetery fund, or Agrace Hospice.
