Henrietta 'Etta' M. Hoverson

Henrietta Etta' M. Hoverson, died on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Stoughton Hospital.   She was born in Stoughton, a daughter of the late Peter and Jennie (Ehle) Onsrud.   She attended the Stoughton Public Schools, and furthered her education at the former Madison Business College.   She was employed by the Wisconsin State Board of Health, the Department of Public Instruction, and the Internal Revenue Service Department in Milwaukee prior to her retirement.   On March 27, 1948, Etta was united in marriage to Harold Hoverson by the Rev. Amos Stolen at First Lutheran Church in Stoughton, where she has been a member throughout her life.   She is survived by a sister, Ione (John) Young of Cedarburg.   One niece and three nephews further survive.   She was preceded in death by her husband Harold, her parents, a brother, Harold M. Onsrud, and an infant son.   Services will be held on Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 1:30 PM at the Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton with the Rev. Richard Halom officiating.   The family will greet friends from 1:00 pm until the time of services.   Private burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery, Stoughton.   Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to First Lutheran Church.
