Helen Mulder

Madison - Helen Mulder passed away in her sleep at home in Madison, WI, at the age of 83. Helen was raised with her 12 brothers and sisters in northwest Iowa. After earning a master's degree in Library Science, Helen became a middle-school librarian in Oelwein, Iowa. She was an avid gardener and baker. She enjoyed sharing her delicious baked goods with family and friends. She was also an accomplished keyboardist and played organ for Grace United Methodist Church in Oelwein for many years. She enjoyed reading, cats, and her grandchildren.

She is survived by her 2 daughters, Shirley (Steve) Crocker, Jo (Keith) White and 3 grandchildren Alaina, James and Sarah. She was preceded in death by her 2 sons, Bob and Jim.

The family would like to express their deep appreciation to the staff at Agrace Hospice Care. The compassion and care they provided to both our Mom and to us were extraordinary.
