In Loving Memory

Helen Thompson Huber, age 89, passed away on Friday, January 22, 2016, at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison. She was born on December 30, 1926, in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin, the daughter of Arthur and Bertha (Krause) Thompson. She was united in marriage to Herbert Huber in Manitowoc, Wisconsin on February 12, 1949. Helen was a lifetime member and past matron of Eastern Star and a longtime member of Sun Prairie United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her son, Michael (Vicki) Huber; daughter, Janis (Stephen) Hawkes; grandchildren, Christopher (Erin) Huber & Blair (Jennifer) Huber and Kathryn Hawkes; great grandchildren, Brenden, Bailey, Brady and Jack.
She was preceded in death by her husband Herbert; brother Robert Thompson; sister in law Dorothy Thompson; sister Annette Stevens; and brother in law Steve Stevens.

A memorial service will be held at The Tree of Life Chapel at Oakwood Village East, 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison, on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Frank Gaylord officiating. A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service on Monday.

Should one wish to, memorials of remembrance would be appreciated to Oakwood Foundation or Salvation Army.
