Stoughton/Madison- Helen M. Fossen, age 80, passed away on Saturday, July 19, 2008 in Cottage Grove. She was born in Stoughton on March 16, 1928, a daughter of Hans and Marie (Wollwage) Fossen. She lived in Stoughton, McFarland and Madison, working at Rennebohm Drugs, and later Walgreen Drugs. Helen was a member of Bethel Lutheran Church in Madison. She enjoyed exercise, travel and needlework. She is survived by 3 sisters, Eleanor Weiland, Madison; Lois (James) Weis, Stevens Point; and Avis (Richard) Favour, Stoughton, a brother, Harvey (Marjorie) Fossen, Onalaska; a sister-in-law, Ruth Fossen, Cambridge; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, and brother, Kermit Fossen. Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, July 29, 2008 at 11:00 am at Olson-Holzhuter-Cress Funeral Home in Stoughton, where the family will greet friends from 10:00 am until the time of service. Following services, there will be a reception at Victorias Banquet Hall 1501 E. Main St., Stoughton.
