Sun Prairie - Harriet A. Davison, age 92 passed away on Monday, July 9, 2012 at Haack's Tendercare with her loving family by her side. She was born on June 2, 1920 in Waukesha County, the daughter of Thomas and Orah (Seaborn) Audley. Harriet attended from UW-Whitewater formerly known as Wisconsin Teacher's College. She taught at a rural school in Waukesha County from 1940 to 1943. On December 21, 1943 Harriet was united in marriage to Robert Davison at St. John's Church in Delafield. Together they raised three sons. Harried shared her passion and love for music to many students as a piano teacher for over 40 years. Harriet was a longtime and active member of the Order of Eastern Star. She was also very active in the Business Professional Women, the library board and the Colonial Club Bell Choir. For many years she played for various churches as their organist. Harriet was a charter and active member of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church. In her free time she enjoyed playing bridge, the accordion, piano, organ and gardening. Even though she was always on the go, Harriet always found time to spend with her family. She is survived by three sons; Gary (Anna Marie) Davison, Clark (Janet) Davison and Lee (Karen) Davison, ten grandchildren; Lynn, Beth, Alan, Mindy, Pamela (Josh), Jill (Joaquin), Brenda (Otto), Lucas (Paige), Wesley and Margaret, six great grandchildren; Dori, Lyla, Elijah, Mila, Olive, and Payten, a sister, Lenore (George) Halverson, two brothers; Robert Audley and LaVerne Audley, and a sister-in-law; Ramona Audley. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert in 1999, a brother, Wilfred, sister-in-law, Marion and a brother-in-law, Lloyd. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 at GOOD SHEPHERD EPISCOPAL CHURCH, 3416 Swansee Ridge, Sun Prairie at 10:00 am with Father Mike Tess and Father Dean Heckel officiating. A visitation will be held at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie on Friday, July 13, 2012 from 4 to 7pm. The Order of Eastern Star will conclude the visitation with a prayer service at 7pm. An additional visitation will be held at the church on Saturday from 9:00 am until the service. Burial will follow services at Sun Prairie Memory Gardens Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Haack's Tendercare and to HospiceCare for the wonderful care and attention given to Harriet and our family.
