Harold A. Kvitle

KVITLE, Harold A., passed away on February 1, 2009 at The Skaalen Retirement Home in Stoughton, WI.   He was born on November 21, 1920 in Stoughton to Peter and Anna ( Anderson) Kvitle.   Harold married Sena Fladen on September 21, 1942.   He was a U.S. Navy combat veteran of World War II, serving 25 months in the South Pacific Theater as a hospital corpsmen attached to the U.S. Marine Corps.   A retired banker, he spent 35 years with the Firstar Corporation as comptroller at the Madison and Oshkosh offices.   He was an active member of Bethel Lutheran Church for many years.   Harold is survived by his wife Sena Kvitle and daughters; Sandra (James) Martin, of Bolingbrook, IL., Linda (Richard) Wedepohl, of Madison, Nancy (Brian) Robson, of Westchester, OH., five grandchildren; Adam, Kelly, Paul, Jill, Kathy, and two great-grandchildren; Tyler and Autumn.   A Private Memorial Service will be held by the family.   In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to: The Christian Children's Fund or any charity of choice.
