Harold Dolan

Madison - Harold F. Dolan, age 90 passed away Monday, December 2, 2013 at St. Mary's Care Center. He was born on September 17, 1923 in Dodgeville, Wisconsin, the son of William and Agnes (Schmitz) Dolan. Harold grew up on the family farm in Clyde, Wisconsin. He worked for the Iowa County DHIA Corp as a fieldsman. Harold proudly served in the United States Military during the Korean War with the 25th Infantry Division from 1950-1951. Harold farmed until 1970, when he moved to Madison and was employed as a computer programmer. Later on he worked as a nursing assistant in nursing homes and at the Veterans Hospital. He also was employed for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue. Harold is survived by many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be held Cress Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave., Madison, WI on Monday, December 9, 2013 at 11:00 am with Chaplain Linda O'Leary officiating. A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 am until the time of services. Burial at Resurrection Cemetery will be held at a later date.
