Harlan "Jay" Wendlick
Madison - age 81, passed away on Monday, May 20, 2013.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Harlan R. and Marjorie Wendlick of Pardeeville.
Harlan worked for Wisconsin Power & Light for 25 years before retiring. He then went to the University of Wisconsin and earned in Master's degree in Sociology. He became a social worker in Adams Friendship. His hobbies were writing, painting and playing a mean game of billiards.
Harlan was married to Dawn Marie Kleist for 30 years before divorcing in 1982. He is survived by daughters, Jean Lichtenwald (Madison) and Sally Sarutzki (Beaverton, OR); sister, Geraldine Bowman; nieces, Susan and Tracy, and nephew, Wayne.
A celebration of life memorial will be held in July, date to be announced.
