Gunter Schulz

Sun Prairie: Gé�nter W. Schulz passed away on Thursday, May 3, 2018 at Agrace Hospice in Fitchburg, Wisconsin. Gé�nter was born in 1929 in Breslau, Germany, the son of Robert and Emma (Schré�ter) Schulz. He married Ruth H. Schulz (Degner) in the Morizkirche in Coburg, Germany in 1952, and they moved to Sun Prairie, Wisconsin in 1956.

Gé�nter is survived by his wife, Ruth, daughter and son-in-law Rosie and John Putman, daughter-in-law Vicki Schulz, his beloved grandchildren, Erika Schulz (Matthew Schmidt), Tristan (Kelsey Stetson) Schulz, Katrina Putman, Alee Putman, and Justin Putman (Genna Burgess), and great-grandson, Sawyer. He is further survived by his brother, Erhard (Elfriede) Schulz and his sister-in-law Margot Johannes. Gé�nter was predeceased by his beloved son, Michael, on April 8, 2018, and his sister Anneliese Augustin.

Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Agrace who helped Opa through his last months of life - words cannot express how much we appreciate your care and guidance. Thanks also to Dad's many friends whose visits he enjoyed over the years, especially neighbors Becky, and Dennis and Josephine. The family will have a private graveside service.
