Gracellen Endy

Gracellen Endy, loving wife and mother, age 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Madison on Sunday June 18, 2017. Grace was born Dec. 28, 1930 in New York to the late Murray and Ada (Dewar) Scullin. She graduated from St. Luke's Hospital School of Nursing in New York City, Central CT State University and the University of Connecticut. Grace married Thomas Endy on Jan. 26, 1952 in Richmond Hill, NY. Before teaching nursing at Madison Area Technical College for 8 years (retiring in 1993), she was a practicing Registered Nurse in New York, Connecticut, and Wisconsin.
Grace was a "Who's New in Madison" for 26 years, and loved to play bridge, read, bowl, golf, garden and enjoyed traveling.
Grace is survived by her loving husband of 65 years Tom; her 3 loving sons Michael (Sharon), Peter, and Donald; brother Edward (Jeanne) Scullin; sister Edith Nadraus, sister-in-law Margaret Neiland; and other relatives and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law Andrew Nadraus, and brother-in-law Andrew Neiland.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday June 22, 2017 at CRESS FUNERAL HOME, 3610 Speedway Road. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home on Thursday.
