In Loving Memory

Sun Prairie- Grace A. Marty, age 94, entered into the presence of her Lord on February 19, 2014 at Agrace HospiceCare.

Grace was born on November 4, 1919 in Monticello, KY., the daughter of Dora Lee (Alexander) and Edmund Dobbs. Grace had three brothers, George, Curtis (Mary) Dobbs, and Arnold (Ginny) Dobbs, and one sister, Frances Pauline Wright. After graduation from Grinnell High School, Grinnell, IA., Grace moved to Madison, WI.

Grace married Gordon Mann on November 4, 1940. She had two children: a daughter, Patti (Marv) Ritchie of Sun Prairie, WI., and a son, Richard Mann, also of Sun Prairie, WI., and a step-son, Randy (Kathy) Marty of Monticello, WI. Grace later married Leon Marty, of Albany, WI: they were married for 30 years. Grace loved dancing, traveling and her family. Grace worked for many years at Manchester's Dept. Store, Madison, WI., and several other boutiques.

Grace is survived by her two children Patti and Richard her step-son Randy; three grandsons Todd ( Tammy) Ritchie of Deforest, Kent ( Lisa) Ritchie of Milwaukee, WI., and Kurt ( Anne) Ritchie of Edgerton, WI. She is also survived by four great-grandsons; Jeremy and Joshua Dernell, and Kyle and Aarron Ritchie; and four great-great grandchildren; Devin and Cameron Dernell, Peyton Ritchie and Neva Dernell. She was preceded in death by her two husbands Gordon Mann and Leon Marty; her parents, three brothers and one sister.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday, February 28, 2014 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, with Pastor Scott Carlson presiding. Visitation will be held from 10:00am until time of service at the funeral home.
