GORDON L. KRUEGER

Gordon Krueger was born on April 27, 1940, in Westboro, Wisconsin, to Frank C. and Marie A. (Sievert) Krueger and passed away September 29 at the age of 83 at Four Winds Manor and Lodge in Verona, Wisconsin.
A graduate of Medford High School and the Taylor County Teachers College, Gordon taught school for several years before moving to Madison, where he worked as an Insurance examiner for the State of Wisconsin Insurance Commissioner's office.
In Madison, he met the love of his life, Sue Ann Clements. They married on September 16, 1983, and enjoyed 32 years of marriage before her death on March 16, 2016. Throughout his life, Gordon enjoyed the outdoors, including hunting, golf, gardening, and especially time spent with family and friends.
Gordon is survived by his brother, Leland Krueger (Green Bay), and sister, Karen Krueger (Madison), as well as numerous beloved nieces and nephews. Gordon was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Lemoyne (Jean Sylvester) Krueger, Leroy (Pauline Legrey) Krueger, as well as sister and brother-in-law Norene (Leo Lowers), and sister Ruth survived by (Fred Strobach).
To honor Gordon's wishes, his family will gather for a private celebration of his life at a later date.
His family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at SSM Hospital, Agrace Hospice Care, Inc., Four Winds Manor, and The Cove for their care of Gordon over the past four months.
