Gloria Fosdal

Stoughton - Gloria J. Fosdal, age 72, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Saturday July 5, 2014. She was born on March 5, 1942 in Stoughton, WI, the daughter of Gerhard and Ruth Kittleson. She married Wayne Fosdal on October 11, 1969 in Stoughton.

Gloria attended Stoughton High School. She also worked various jobs such as planting and harvesting tobacco. Most recently she retired from St. Vincent DePaul. Gloria enjoyed going to the cabin and traveling. Her favorite trip was to the Bahamas. She also loved spending time with her family.

She is survived by her husband Wayne, daughter Sandra Yates, grandchildren Jacob, Ali, and Jordan Yates; her sister Barb (Ken) Spink; special niece Cindy Spink and several other nieces and nephews; and her dog Bucky.
Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, daughter Cheryl Fosdal, her brothers Gerald and Norman Kittleson.

Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Covenant Lutheran Church 1525 N Van Buren St., Stoughton with Rev. Mark Petersen presiding. Visitation will be held from 9:30 a.m. until the time of services on Wednesday at Church. Friends are invited to a luncheon immediately following the service. Gloria will be laid to rest next to her daughter Cheryl at East Koshkonong Lutheran Cemetery.

The family would like to thank Agrace HospiceCare, St. Mary's Hospital, and Stoughton EMS for the care they have provided.
