Geraldine Treu

MIDDLETON- Geraldine (Gerrie) DeSwarte Treu, age 85 of Middleton WI and formerly of Fountain Hills AZ, passed away peacefully on April 6th, after a long and valiant fight against cancer. She enjoyed world travel, golfing and doing volunteer work.

Born November 18th 1930 in Chicago Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Ralph P. DeSwarte and late Blanche R. DeSwarte of Wilmette IL.

She will be missed terribly by her husband of 58 years, Clarence G. Treu; a daughter, Jill S. Treu of Caledonia WI, a son David J. Treu of Middleton WI and her "puppy", Buttons.

A memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 1pm at Covenant Presbyterian Church, 326 S Segoe Rd, Madison with Rev. Charles Berthoud officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the UW Carbone Cancer Center in Madison WI.
