Gerald Hauser

Sun Prairie- Gerald M. Hauser, age 95, passed away on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at his home surrounded by his family.  He was born on May 8, 1927, the son of Jack and Florence Hauser.  Gerry was raised on the family farm by Henry and Mamie Hauser.  He graduated from Monroe High School.

On January 27, 1968 Gerry married Angela Bronner.  He worked for the US Post Office for over 30 years.  Gerry enjoyed old cars, he took pride in owning his 1927 Pontiac, and going to swap meets.

Gerry is survived by his children, Joyce and Dan Hauser; two sisters, Belva Leverton and Joan Neuenschwander; numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and six siblings, Julia, Gladys, Helen, Geraldine, Bob, and Jack.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at Cress Funeral Home, 1310 Emerald Terrace, Sun Prairie, with Fr. Thomas Kelley officiating.  Burial will take place in Sacred Hearts Cemetery.  Friends may greet the family from 10:00 AM until the time of service Wednesday.
