Georgia Sperry

Georgia Sperry passed away peacefully on June 15th. She was born September 19th, 1921 to Nicholas and Frances (Stassi) Cuccia. Georgia grew up in Madison's "Greenbush" neighborhood, and was very passionate about her italian heritage. She married Harvey Sperry on October 5th, 1940.They enjoyed 56 years of marriage prior to his passing in 1997. Georgia was employed for years as an account technician at VA Hospital. She is survived by her daughter Frances (Robert) Moritz, grandsons David (Christine) and Steve (Katy), and great grandchildren Morgan, Amber, Cooper, Annabel, and Emma, as well as brothers Sam and John. She was preceded in death by her husband Harvey, and brothers Thomas, Vito, Joseph and Anthony. The family would like to acknowledge and thank the staff at St. Mary's Care Center. A small private service will be held at Sunset Memory Gardens Chapel on June 26th at 1pm.
