Waunakee - George Schaub, age 33, left this world too soon on Monday, October 15, 2012. He was born on May 11, 1979 in Madison, the son of Paul and Margaret Schaub. He was the baby of six children and his five sisters spoiled and loved him dearly. On June 15, 2002 George married his high school sweetheart, Anna Miller at St. John's Catholic Church and together they have two wonderful children Owen and Claire. He worked several years for Hooper and then ventured out on his own and created a very successful business, known as "Competitive Tree Service" with his twin nephews Brian and Brad Breunig. In his spare time, George loved spending time outdoors, camping and hunting. George was a lover and a people pleaser. He loved his family and friends but most of all he adored his children. George had a passion for helping others and his heart of gold will be deeply missed. It will never be the same. George is survived by his wife, Anna Schaub, his two beautiful children; Owen and Claire Schaub, his parents; Margaret and Paul Schaub, five sisters; Rhonda (Larry) Breunig, Denise (Bernard) Schwartz, Paula (Jeff) Breunig, Colleen (Les) Hoven, and Kathy (Shane) Miller, eight beloved nieces and nephews; Sara, Jon, Brian, Brad, Brittany, Elizabeth, Cody and Ella, in-laws; Rick and Kerry Miller, Luke Miller and Kate (Nick) Morrison and a special friend; Kurt Acker. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and dear friends. You're at peace now with your best buddy Maggie, Grandma Jane, Aunt Betsy, Aunt Bonnie, Uncle Gordy, Uncle Bob and now you are finally meeting your Grandfather George Schaub, Maternal grandparents Paschel and Herbert Johnson and his aunt Janice Johnson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST CATHOLIC CHURCH, 209 South St., Waunakee on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 11am with Monsignor James Gunn presiding. A visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 9:00 am until the time of Mass. Inurnment will follow at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery, Madison. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund is being established in George's name for his two children Owen and Claire. The family would like to extend a special thank you to all of George's friends and his AA family for all the love and support given to George over the years. We love you George from the bottom of our hearts and we will meet you again up in heaven!
